The Miracle Twins

The two miracle babies. They are my sister's grandchildren. Which makes them my great niece and nephew.

What makes these two very special is that they were born to a beautiful couple which is my nephew and his wife. Who at one time were told that they couldn't have children.

My nephew and his wife have tried very hard to have a child. In fact my nephew is here on Squidoo too and is doing very well in his business, called

Joey and Olivia were long awaited babies that were born in a miraculous way, the doctors said that their parents couldn't bare children. But my nephew and his wife never gave up trying to have a child. But they never imagined it being twins lol. But that isn't all, they are expecting another child in July of next month. Ironically the same month that the twins were born ha ha ha. They are having another boy wooohooo.

So now you know what I mean when I say that they have received more than they ever could have hoped for or imagined. I love the Lord's good sense of humor He always seems to give us more then what we ask for. I also believe that He knows our heart and He wanted to just bless this couple, knowing that they could handle it and they would make good parents.

Plus I also believe that the grandmother my (sister) had a lot to do with it, her prayers and all of our prayers together opened the windows of heaven for this lovely young couple.

The doctors may know a lot but in the end our Creator makes the decision and can do anything it don't matter what the doctors say. Oliva and Joey are born to the couple who the doctors said they can not bare children and that makes them special and a true miracle.

These two were born premature babies but like what the title says even though all odds were against them, these beautiful children surpassed it all and today are very active fun little children.

They have been a tremendous blessing on their parents and had a true impact on their life. But what I have noticed even more so is my sister's life has been affected a lot by their birth and how happy these children have made her. My sister, their grandma plays a big part in their life.

She gave up her full time job as a manager to dedicate her life to helping her son and daughter in-law with their children so that they can keep working.

I do believe in this and it just goes to show without saying that sometimes when we lose someone we love very deeply the Lord has another way of making it up to us.

The reason I am bringing this up is that my sister is the one that stood with my mother in her last days. So there was a bond between the two of them. Now that my mother is at home with her heavenly Father the Lord made it up to my sister by bringing these two into her life to keep her busy.

She has another grandchild, who is grown up but very close to her grandma. She is also an active part in these two beautiful babies lives. So you can imagine the joy and laughter that this family shares together with The Miracle babies!

Sometimes you don't know what to buy with one baby, much less when there are two. Buying them together already saves you some extra money and a headache trying to find the right gift for two.

I spent Christmas last year with the twins lol. I got to have a fill on how cute these twins are. I am not only speaking about cute looking, but about how cute their characters were already. They are so different it makes you crack up.

Joey has this giggle that just makes you laugh. He took more to me then Olivia did, she more or less tolerated me lol. She just wanted her dad and mom and of course her grandma.

My sister said that I liked Joey more because he liked me, but not the case. I really got a kick out of both of them. They sure were the spotlight and I am hoping that they can be the spotlight on squidoo hehehe hint hint lol.

Can be a very difficult task and being parents to two twins you may have a lot of questions. I have selected these books that teach good insight to all those questions that you may have.

Having twins is a hard task as it is a blessing. I have two children close in age 13 months apart, both were difficult at times because when the second one came the first one was still taking his bottle etc..

I do believe as parents we sometimes feel guilt because we try to give both of the children the attention needed but you always feel somewhat.. that they are not getting what they need because there are two of them. At least that is the way I felt.

I do believe that my nephew and his wife get plenty of support coming from both family backgrounds so that helps them a great deal.

They as parents to twins can use time for themselves so that they can recharge and be the best parents that they can be.
