Aaloo Kanda Bhajia : Potato Onion Fries
Ingredients:
Gram Flour – 3 cups
Water- 1 ½ cups
Garlic paste- ½ teaspoon
Turmeric powder- ¼ teaspoon
Red Chili powder- 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder- 1 teaspoon
Onion- 1 coarsely sliced
Potato – 1 coarsely sliced
Green chilies – 3 chopped
Coriander leaves – 1 bunch, chopped
Baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon
Salt – to taste
Oil for frying
Onions ... whole and sliced ...
Method : :
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Add water as required and bind the batter well.
- Deep fry the pakoras in cooking oil.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup or with tamarind chutney.
- Enjoy the pakoras especially in the rainy season while playing cards or carrom in your home with family and friends while holidaying.
