Kabob Recipes

Updated on May 30, 2014

For years, our family has used this marinade recipe for our beef kabobs. Over the years the recipe has evolved and gotten even better. Originally this recipe was for top sirloin, but it is great on shrimp, chicken, or other seafood. These beefed-up kabobs receive high reviews every time I serve them.

1. 1/3 cup red wine vinegar

1/4 cup ketchup

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon dijon mustard

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

2 clove of garlic minced

1 pound beef top sirloin, cut into cubes

cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, small onions, green bell pepper chunks (optional)

In a small bowl, combine vinegar, ketchup, olive oil, soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, pepper, and garlic. Mix well. Place beef cubes in a shallow pan and pour marinade all over the cubes. Let the meat marinade for a couple hours in the fridge. After a couple of hours take the meat out of the fridge. Assemble kabobs with the top sirloin and veggies. Grill and then your done. These kabobs are truly delicious.
