Great Chicken Recipes With Beer


There are a variety of different chicken recipes you can create using beer. Beer is great to add to food since it consists of barley, and herbs. Beer can help bring out flavors and add a little something extra to your dish. Here are some great beer chicken recipes.


Beer Can Chicken

1 whole 4lb chicken


1 Tablespoon liquid smoke


2 Teaspoons texas grill seasoning


2 Teaspoons charbroil seasoning


1 Teaspoon montreal chicken seasoning


1 12 oz. can of beer, any brand of choice


-Preheat grill to 375F

-Turn on one burner and leave the other burner off.

-Thoroughly clean chicken and remove giblets.

-Add liquid smoke, texas grill, charbroil, and montreal chicken seasoning to the chicken, spread evenly.

-Open the beer can and insert into the chicken (make sure the chicken is standing upright when inserting the can).

-Place the chicken upright on the burner that is not lit.

-Cook for 2 hours or until done.



Beer Batter Chicken

1 ¾ cup of flour


1 tablespoon salt


1 tablespoon pepper


1 teaspoon lemon juice


1 teaspoon seasoning salt


1 teaspoon paprika


1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning


10 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or tenders

1 12 oz can of beer, any brand


Vegetable oil for frying


-Combine flour, salt, pepper, lemon juice, seasoning salt, paprika and Cajun seasoning in a large bowl.

-Add beer and mix with whisk or egg beater.

-Set aside for 20-30 minutes.

-Add vegetable oil into a large frying pan until about 1 inch thick.

-Heat frying pan to about 375F.

-Meanwhile add chicken pieces into beer batter and cover evenly.

-Add chicken to frying pan and fry for 20-30 minutes or until done.

-Flip often.

-Place chicken on paper towels and let sit for 10 minutes.
