Bread Pudding Preparation
Bread Pudding is a sweet recipe which can be made fast.
Ingredients for Bread Pudding
- 10 Bread Pieces with the edges cut off
- 10 Cups of Milk
- 2 Eggs
- Sugar
- 1 Pinch Cardamom Powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
Method of Preparation
Take the Bread slices and soak it in 3 cups of milk. Heat six cups of milk and boil after adding sugar in low flame. Keep on stirring continuously and reduce it to one third. Take the balance one cup of milk and beat one egg into it. Add this mixture into the milk that is boiling by stirring well till it starts getting thick. Also add the soaked bread mixture to the above and mix well. Finely add 1 tsp Vanilla essence and cardamom powder till it becomes like porridge. Now take a big vessel with little water in it and place the vessel containing the pudding mixture into the vessel with water to bake the pudding. Close both the vessels with lid and steam the mixture for 15-20 minutes. After that take the pudding off the fire and allow cooling. Cut into pieces and serve chilled.
