Dining delight in Vacaville, Ca-The Black Oak
You can find me most any Friday morning at 320 Orange Dr in Vacaville, sharing great breakfast foods with my daughter, Rojana and any other family members who are available. Usually it is just the two of us and my four year old great- granddaughter. It is a blast when little Kaylee is with us-never know what she is going to do or say, always a treat to spend time with them.
And then you add the wonderful service and food--it is a yummy , wow of a way to spend the morning. And the wait-persons never make you feel rushed!
I love Oatmeal and the Black Oak knows how to serve it--brown sugar, raisins, peanut butter (not sure what that is for, never had it in oatmeal before but it tastes good on my English Muffin.
Omelets, eggs any way you wish, pancakes, waffles-you name it, they serve it-just right!
As you walk in the door, you are surrounded by the many items offered in the gift shop, from stuffed animals, dolls, wall decore and beautifully decorated coffee mugs-the travel variety!
When a birthday comes along in the family we try to get as many local family to show up as possible: sometimes our booth is full, other times just Rojana and me!
Now, I don't mean to infer that breakfast is the only food they serve-no way! They also cook great lunches, I just don't hang around long enough after breakfast to eat lunch!
The restaurnant is located near the Outlet Mall so very easy to find. Just off Hwy 80 where Hwy 505 connects to head north.
