Burgers and Hot Dogs are a guaranteed American favorite that will bring a smile to almost any child's face.

Hamburger Grilling Tips

Make sure that your grill is at the right temperature before you try to grill your hamburgers. You want the grill to be pre-heated before you place your hamburgers on the grill. You don't want your grill to hot because your burgers will burn on the outside and not get done on the inside.

Don't turn your burgers to often. You want to cook your burgers to an internal temperature of 160 degrees. This way they will be plump and juicy but done on the inside. If you want to make cheeseburgers you'll want to add your cheese in the last few minutes of the cooking time. This way your cheese will be melted but won't be burned.

To toast or not to toast is the question. Some people will want to toast their buns while other people prefer their buns steamed in a bun warmer. I myself like to butter my hamburger buns and toast them in the oven.

You can heat buns for hot dogs in a bun steamer or bread warmer and your bread will be hot but not soggy when you add your hot dog wieners and other hot dog condiments.

Consider adding grilled vegetables to your hot dog , hamburger buffet. Fresh corn is so delicious grilled in the husk on your grill. Just be sure that you turn your corn often so it doesn't burn. When your grilling vegetables like corn you'll want your grill to be at a medium heat so you will be able to grill your corn and other vegetables with out burning them.

And as always if you have comments , tips , suggestions , or questions feel free to post them now.

Burgers and Fires and Cherry Pies and Hot Dogs are all American favorites especially in the summer time when you can be grilling out in the back yard. What I like to do is cook burgers , hot dogs , and Italian Sausages and I set up a huge homemade buffet bar of toppings for my hamburgers , hot dogs and Italian Sausages.

That way everyone can customize to taste and its always a hit with everyone. Below you will find a complete list of hot dog , hamburger , and Italian Sausage toppings.

Chicken Bacon Burgers with Munster Cheese are oh so delicious when cooked on the home grill.
Chicken Bacon Burgers with Munster Cheese are oh so delicious when cooked on the home grill.

Chicken , Bacon , Munster Cheese Burgers.

This is truly one of the most delicious chicken sandwiches you will ever eat. You can make this sandwich with grilled chicken breast or boned grilled chicken thighs. If you make the sandwich with grilled boned chicken thighs you'll still have a wonderful tasting sandwich . You'll want to marinade your chicken breast or chicken thighs in Italian dressing for at least four hours before you grill your chicken.

You'll want to fry your bacon crisp that you plan on putting on your chicken sandwiches and you'll want thin sliced Munster Cheese for your sandwiches. Honey Mustard is oh so delicious on this chicken sandwich. Put your chicken on the bottom of a bun and then place your thin slices of Munster Cheese over it. Melt your cheese under the broiler and then put the rest of your sandwich together by adding your crisp fried bacon , lettuce and tomato slices.

And you'll have one of the most delicious chicken sandwiches you'll ever taste. You can butter and toast your sandwich bun or you can steam your sandwich bun. You may or may not want to place honey mustard on your chicken sandwich.
