CHILI RECIPE crockpot slow-cooker easy meal
Who doesn't love chili?
This is a great recipe for cold winter months, or for your next chili cook-off. This recipe is super easy to make, not overly spicy and every time we've made it people love it! With a crock-pot and a few ingredients anyone can make this.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cans Red kidney beans, 1 can should be drained
- 1 can canned tomatoes or tomato sauce, smashed or pureed
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 6-7 fresh garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1-2 peppers red, green (your choice), diced
- 1 white onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon Cumin
- 1/4 cup chili powder or chili seasoning
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 can green chili's
- 1 can diced tomatoes
Instructions
- Dice your pepper(s) and onion. Finely chop the garlic cloves.
- In a pan, over medium heat, add 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Add the peppers and onion. Saute on medium heat, stirring often, for about 8-9 minutes.
- Add the finely chopped garlic, and cook another minute or so. Then add the cumin, chili powder, and salt.
- Add the ground beef, until browned. About another 7-8 minutes.
- Transfer everything from the pan into your crock pot or slow-cooker, and add remaining ingredients. Cook on low for about 8 hours.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese, scallions or oyster crackers. Serve with crunchy bread or salad and ENJOY it as a meal!
