ideas, and there are many, that can help one to not only cope with, but enjoy those cold, sharp days of winter and even help you enjoy the season. No. I did not make a grammatical-error. My idea of enjoying Campbell’s Chunky Soup is arguably, the most-sensible way if you are like me, a non-winter person, whose bones ache in those sharp winter winds, but know that at the end of the day, I can take a can of Campbell’s Chunky Soup, stick it into my microwave and in minutes, I can relaxing and enjoying every spoonful of soup that happens to be my favorite soup.

This American soup icon, Campbell Soups, began in 1869 by Joseph A. Campbell, a fruit merchant from Bridgeton, N.J., and Abraham Anderson, an icebox manufacturer from South Jersey. They produced canned tomatoes, vegetables, jellies, soups, and minced meats. In 1876, Anderson left the partnership and the company became the "Joseph A. Campbell Preserve Company.” Anderson's son, Campbell Speelman, went their separate ways with his father and continued to work at Campbell's as a creative director, originally designing the Campbell's Soup Cans. The motto: “Mmmm, good,” started in 1869 and still is used in 2019.

Campbell Soup grew to one of the largest food companies in the world under the leadership of William Beverly Murphy. He was elected executive vice president in 1949 and was President and CEO from 1953 to 1972. He took the Campbell’s Soups public and increased its brand portfolio to include Pepperidge Farm's breads, cookies, and crackers, Franco-American's gravies and pastas, V8 vegetable juices, Swanson broths, and Godiva's chocolates. David Johnson was President and CEO from 1990 until 1997. Murphy followed the age-old principle of working hard produces good products.

A lot of Campbell’s Soup fans all ask just how many various soups are there that is made by this highly-prestigious company? The answer, do not get shocked, SEVEN. That is right. Seven different soups that can be made to cream to solid soup. But everyone has their own favorite like I do, and my favorite soup is Campbell’s Chunky Soup.

On a Personal Note:

the overall reason why I love Campbell's Chunky Soap, I have to admit, is a bit selfish. Where I live is in the mid-south, northwest Alabama to be exact, and when winter time hits, it hits. From early November through early February it sometimes snows with ice and rain, we get freezing rain and sharp cold winds that will slice you into when you venture outside.

But there is a reason why we have more auto fender-benders that almost than anyone I can think of. Southerners do not know how to drive in the snow and ice (like the residents in the north and northwest) so when they hit the ice, they get scared and one thing leads to another and those bumpers bend until they stop.

Me? I like to stay inside our home when winter comes in. My wife and I always have Campbell's Chunky Soup, or maybe sometimes one of the many delicious samples that Campbell's Soup have offered to everyone for many years. And the tradition of fine soup is stronger than ever.

We couldn't be more glad with this fact.
