How To Make Caramel Pecan French Toast, Overnight Oven Baked.
Caramel Pecan French Toast.
This is a good recipe for a holiday brunch or any time you're having company. Easy to make and can be made the night before and refrigerated until ready to cook. The caramel part is easy to make also and you can add extra pecans. I'm giving you the recipe for 6 servings, but it can be cut in half the way I made it in my pictures.
We put syrup on it just like you would with regular french toast.
Caramel Pecan French Toast

- 12 slices bread
- 6 eggs
- 11/2 cup whole milk

- Combine brown sugar, butter and corn syrup in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Place pecans in greased 13-by-9 baking dish. Pour syrup mixture over pecans.
- Place six slices of bread on top of syrup mixture. Top with remaining six slices of bread.
- Combine eggs, milk, vanilla, salt and cinnamon, stirring until well blended. Pour egg mixture evenly over bread slices.
- Cover and chill 8 hours. Bake in preheated 350 ovens 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
