Cheater’s 2 Ingredient Fruit Pie
Let’s face it, in this day and age very few people have time to make a fruit pie from scratch. Even most grandmothers are too busy. I found a quick and easy way to make a fruit pie and it has turned out so yummy! No adding butter or sugar!
- 1 large can pie filling, (apple, cherry, etc.)
- 1 roll refrigerated crescent roll dough, (I like the butter flavored dough)
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Take an 8x8 square pan and spray bottom and sides with cooking spray – even if the pan is supposed to be non-stick. Open roll of crescent rolls and unroll dough. Place 4 pieces of dough in the bottom of the pan. Add can of pie filling. Top with other 4 pieces of dough.
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes – until the dough is a golden brown. DONE! Serve with plain vanilla ice cream for an extra treat!
