Quick & Easy Appetizer: Cheese & Deli Meats
A Fast and Delicious Appetizer
With the holidays around the corner, having unexpected guests over is usually, well, unexpected. With the rush of work, school, household duties, and preparing for the holidays, the last thing we have is extra time.
If you're short on time but you still enjoy serving your guest something quick and easy while they visit, here is a super simple appetizer dish that can be made in less than 5 minutes.
The ingredients can be kept on hand for those unexpected moments when company arrives.
It's a nice alternative to the usual chips and dip and this appetizer goes deliciously with beer, wine or a cocktail.

With this platter, you will be making a total five (5) tasty simple snack appetizers.
- Cubed Colby Jack cheese
- Cubed Monterrey Jack cheese
- Gouda cheese wrapped in Cantimpalo Chorizo
- Prosciutto Ham rolls
- Genoa Salami rolls
Ingredients:
1/2 pound of Prosciutto Ham, sliced
1/3 pound Cantimpalo Chorizo, sliced
1/3 pound Genoa Salami, sliced
1 (8 oz) package of Colby Jack block cheese, cubed
1 (8 oz) package of Monterrey Jack block cheese, cubed
1 package of Gouda cheese, sizes vary
1 (8 oz) can black olives, pitted

Serving Platter
Directions:
For the Gouda Cantimpalo Chorizo rolls, just cut the Gouda cheese in strips (about 1/8" to 1/4" long). Wrap the Cantimpalo Chorizo around the Gouda cheese and secure with a toothpick.
The Prosciutto and Salami can also be rolled and held with toothpick, served alone or also wrapped around the Gouda cheese.
Cube the Monterrey Jack block cheese and the Colby Jack block cheese.
Place on your platter with the black olives.

Note: A variety of cheeses can be used as well as a variety of cold cuts.
