Yields: 4 Dozen

Ingredients

  • 1 C Pre-made baking mix
  • ½ C Sharp cheddar cheese, shreded
  • ½ C Monterrey Jack cheese, shreded
  • ¼ C Parmesan cheese, shreded
  • 2 T green onion, chopped
  • 1 T Garlic, minced
  • 1 t Garlic powder
  • ½ t Ground black pepper
  • ¼ C Mayonaise
  • ¼ C Sour cream
  1. Preheat oven to 375°
  2. In a bowl, mix the first eight ingredients together well.
  3. Add the mayonnaise and sour cream and stir until well incorporated.
  4. Drop by the spoonful onto a lightly greased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork. Make sure you leave room for the crackers to spread out during cooking.
  5. Cook for approximately 12 to 15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  6. Cool on wire rack and place on paper toweling before storing.

      I use Bisquick, K A. I've had success using different cheese and herb combinations - dill and chile lime are a couple of favorites. If you try them, let me know. Thanks for reading!

      AnniePie tried these once, a recipe she concocted on her own, going for a cheesy crisp to pack in her lunch bag. She had to double the recipe the second time out as the initial batch never made it past "testing." Not exactly a cracker, but don't hold that against 'em. They're plain dang GOOD and highly addictive!
