- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic, cut
- 1 tablespoon butter
- a teaspoon 5 spice powder

- 2 carrot, cubes

- In a heated pan add a tablespoon of butter, add chopped onion,garlic and washed chicken pieces.Add 5 spice powder and stir fry it for few minutes.Now add cut pieces of one carrot and 600ml of water,required salt and cook till the chicken piece are tender.
- Now filter the broth,discard the vegetables,(save the chicken pieces for soup) add the remaining pieces of carrot and cook for two minutes.
- Remove the cooked soup in bowls, garnish with celery and serve it hot.
