Chinese Fried Fish In Sweet Sour Sauce
Fried Fish
Fish is healthy to consume because of the presence of omega 3 fatty acids which is good for the heart. Different ways of preparing fried fish across the world have their local tastes. The Chinese cuisine offers one varieties of dishes to be prepared from fish. Fried fish in sweet sour sauce is simple to prepare and delicious to eat when accompanied by the Chinese Fried Rice.
Ingredients A
400 gms fish fillet
salt & pepper to taste
a dash of ginger powder
2 capsicums
Ingredients B
1 egg
3 tbsp all purpose flour
3 tbsp corn starch
2 tsp water
Ingredients C
1 cup tomato sauce
2 tsp soya sauce
2 tsp vinegar
a pinch of ajinomoto
1 tsp salt
Preparation:
Cut fish fillet into serving pieces (1" x 2")
Sprinkle with Ingredients A
Cut the capsicums into 6-8 pieces lengthwise
Mix Ingredients B well.
Method:
Heat oil.
Dip fish pieces in Ingredients B mixture & deep fry over medium heat until lightly browned.
Remove & drain excess oil.
Place on a heated plate.
Fry capsicum in oil for 1/2 minute.
Put it over fried fish.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in another pan & cook Ingredients C until boiling.
Pour hot sauce over fried fish and capsicum.
Looks mouthwatering! And is definitely very tasty!
