Chocolate Chip Cookie - YUMMY!

This chocolate chip cookie recipe was sent to me by e-mail.

I am throwing my hat into the mix by posting this chocolate chip cookie recipe that is supposed to be by Neiman Marcus. I will tell you that these cookies are the BOMB! My other Hubs have been more so about our very precious commodity - our children, but I thought, hmmm, children and cookies go together. So here is the chocolate chip cookie recipe I was sent. What a sweet treat.

  • 2 cups of butter
  • 24 oz. of chocolate chips
  • 4 cups of flour
  • 2 cups of brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. of baking soda
  • 1 tsp. of salt
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1- 8 oz. Hershey Bar (grated)
  • 5 cups of blended oatmeal
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. of baking powder
  • 2 tsp. of vanilla
  • 3 cups of chopped nuts (your choice)

Measure oatmeal and blend in a blender to a fine powder. Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla, then mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Add chocolate chips, Hershey Bar, and nuts. Roll into balls, and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees.

This makes approximately 112 cookies. Please let me know if you like this chocolate chip cookie recipe.
