Chocolate Covered Strawberry Cookies

Updated on April 5, 2020

Well. I cannot tell you how they taste because I have not tried them yet. Nope. They went right into the freezer.

We had so many cakes and donuts and cookies and homemade treats already sitting around that I was told to freeze them until we got "around to" eating them. My other option was calling one of my kids to find out if they would take them off our hands.

They did not need them either.

Sigh...

Ingredients

  • 1 box strawberry cake mix

For the frosting:

Rida Verduax, thank you for your comment. I just tried one. They are still in the freezer. Actually, they would even be good with French vanilla cake, cherry pie filling, and a chocolate frosting ..like those Royal Anne chocolate covered cherries... Char

I love strawberry flavor. Never thought of using a strawberry cake mix! I'll have to try this.
