Chocolate Orange Cream Cheese Pound Cake
If you like chocolate dipped oranges, you'll love this delicious pound cake. This cake is light and moist, and sure to please!
Ingredients:
1 (18 ounce) chocolate cake mix
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
¾ cup fresh orange juice
½ cup oil
¼ cup sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon orange zest
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour a 12-cup bundt or tube cake pan.
Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl, and mix at low speed for 1 minute, scraping bowl several times.
Increase mixing speed to medium and beat for 2 minutes, or until batter is thoroughly mixed.
Pour into the pan and bake for 60-65 minutes.
Cool in pan for about 25 minutes, then turn out and let cake finish cooling. When completely cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar or drizzle with a glaze of powdered sugar and orange juice (optional).
