Comfort Pancakes! Fill Your Tastebuds
This is Sunday breakfast tradition in my home. An easy and creative way to enjoy family time. I usually allow my family to create their own unique pancake art and enjoy the different flavours and ideas.
Cook Time
Ingredients
- 500g all purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 385g condensed milk
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon powder
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 500ml water
- 375ml whipped cream, optional
- as desired fresh fruit, optional
Instructions
- Take a baking dish add flour, baking powder, cinnamon mixing dry ingredients together
- In a separate bowl, beat your eggs
- Add your oil
- Pour in water
- Merge wet and dry ingredients
- Pour in the tin of condensed milk
- Mix well, smoothing out all the lumps
- Heat nonstick frying pan to moderate heat 15 minute before frying
- Using a stew pot spoon (gives the perfect batter amount to each pancake)
- Pour in towards the centre of the pan
- Wait for the batter to start bubbling top, indicating it’s ready to be turned
- Continue until batter is complete
- Ready to serve with option of whip cream and sliced fruit
