Grilled Salmon Burgers

I love the taste of salmon it really good and fresh, but the other day I wanted some fresh salmon and my local seafood market did not have any but my fish guy told me to try can wild caught salmon...............My first reaction was are you crazy.............. but my fish guy took out a can opened it up and told me to try it ...........I went on and tried it and the taste was very, very good I was totally surprise about the taste.

But as good as it was I knew I could not prepare it the way I was going to so what I did was to make some burgers out of them some great tasting salmon burgers grilled to perfection.

A grilled salmon burger that is healthy and super tasty is what I'm doing with this can salmon and just using a few simple ingredients to take the flavor to another level.

Grilled Salmon Burgers

1 14oz can of wild caught Alaska salmon

1 tablespoon of lemon juice

1 tablespoon of lime juice

2 teaspoons of honey Dijon mustard

3/4 cups of panko bread crumbs

1 teaspoon of dried tarragon flakes

1/3 cup of sliced green onions

4 eggs whites

Sea salt and pepper to taste

Methods

Open the salmon and drain the juice out of it then flake the salmon in to a medium side bowl.

Combine the lemon juice, lime juice, and the Dijon mustard mix well now ...........combine the salmon and the bread crumbs, green onions, tarragon flakes and the lemon and lime juice and mixed well when the all of these ingredients are mixed well add the egg whites until it is completely mixed in well.

After mixing the salmon mixture well form the salmon into 4 patties then grill on a lightly oil grill until the patties are golden brown on both sides.

If you do not have a gill you can saute in a large skillet until it is golden brown on both sides

Remove the salmon burgers from the grill or the sauté pans then serve each burger on a toasted bun with lettuce, tomato slices with any type of condiment that you desire...........Serve and enjoy!.
