Scallop Potatoes
Cooking out of the cup board
Many people love to cook and some people just do not have time to prepare a total meal from fresh ingredients but with a little time and some effort you can go to your cupboard and cook a very tasty entree or side dish that your family and friends will enjoy right out of your kitchen cupboard. Most people always have some potatoes and can soup around the house with these items and a little sour cream and cheddar cheese you can create a very good scallop potato dish that your family and friends will love
So if you have a 1 hour and 30 minutes you can make a quick dish that can serve 15 to 20 people and fill them up!
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups of your favorite sour cream
1 can 10 1/4 oz condensed cream of potato soup
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 1/2 pounds of potatoes about 8 or 9 sliced very thin
1 cup of cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons of fresh chives ( optional )
Method
Heat oven to 350 degrees, mix the first 3 ingredients in a large bowl, add potatoes, toss to coat. Spoon into a 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray top with cheese.
Bake for 55 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.........Sprinkle with chives and serve..
