Dandelion Battered and Pan Fried

Updated on May 21, 2020

Ingredients

  • 5 dandelion tops
  • 1/2 cup fry magic
  • 1 egg
  • 5 pieces bacon, retain grease
  • 1/4 cup canola oil

I picked seven dandelions. I destroyed one when prepping it because if you completely remove the green, the flower falls apart. Apparently, dandelions are extremely biodegradable. Smile.

Wash the blossoms. Some of the dandelions had ants living on them. Hopefully the washing took care of anything foreign.

I cooked a few strips of bacon for the grease. I felt that the grease would add a nice flavor to my flowerette.

One egg, milk, and a dish of fry magic. Dip and dredge. Then, fry until browned.
