Delicious Chick Pea, Feta & Nut Salad with Apple

Tired of the standard cucumber, tomato and lettuce garden variety salad? Then this high protein, vitamin rich salad is just the dish to tantalize your taste buds!
Easy to make in just a few minutes and a definite crowdpleaser, this salad is unusual and unforgettable.
Ingredients
To make this tasty salad, you will need:
- 1 - 2 Tins of Woolworth's Organic Chickpeas - Or add hydrated / Fresh from your garden
- 3 - 5 Fresh, Peeled Carrots
- 1 Cup Grated beetroot (available in a ready to eat pack from Woolworths)
- 200g Feta Cheese (Cranberry cheese also works well if you have a sweet tooth)
- 2 Golden Delicious / Pink Lady Apples
- 100g Almonds / Walnuts or Roasted Mixed Nuts
- ½ Fresh Lemon
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 T-Spoon Course salt
- 1 T-Spoon Oregano
- ½ T-Spoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Let's get to Work!
- Making this salad is so Easy! Grate the Carrots and add grated carrot to large salad bowl
- Cube Feta and add to ingredients in bowl
- Cube Apple and add to bowl
- Add Nuts to ingredients in bowl
- Add the Grated Beetroot
- Drain the Chickpeas and pour into large salad bowl
- Stir in Oil, salt & cayenne pepper
- Squeeze lemon juice into salad and serve
- Voila!
