Below is a very simple recipe to make really great tasting lemonade. Really fine crushed ice makes the best lemonade.

LEMONADE RECIPE

Yes delicious homemade lemonade.

Don't you remember all those times when you were a kid and you got a tall glass of cold frosty lemonade. I know I do. If you want your lemonade to be a real tasty treat go to the extra effort to find and purchase very fine crushed ice to serve your lemonade over.

The below recipe will make six glasses of delicious homemade lemonade served over really fine crushed ice.

1. 1 Cup sugar
2. 1 Quart water
3. 1/2 Cup Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice

Make a syrup by boiling the sugar and water for a few minutes, and set
aside to cool. Add the lemon juice and then dilute with ice water to
suit the taste. Serve in glasses and garnish each one with a slice of
lemon and a red cherry.

Homemade Orangeade is oh so delicious and refreshing.

ORANGEADE RECIPE

While not so acid in flavor as lemonade, orangeade is also a delightful drink. On warm days, drinks of this kind should take the place of the hot ones that are generally used during the
cold weather months. Orangeade is one of my favorite all time homemade beverages.

How To Make Delicious Homemade Orangeade

This recipe will make six glasses of delicious orangeade. In the deep south here in the United States Orangeade is often made and sold from drug store counters. They usually serve it over crushed ice and one glass will leave you wanting more and more.

1. 3/4 Cup Sugar
2. 1 Quart  Water
3. 1/2 Cup  Orange Juice
4. 3  Tablespoons  Lemon Juice

Make a syrup of the sugar and 1 cup of the water. Boil this for at least three minutes after it comes to a boil. Allow this to become cool and then add the fruit juices and the remaining water. Pour into glasses and garnish each glass with a slice of orange, a red cherry, or a fresh strawberry. Orangeade is great to serve at a backyard barbecue. Just be sure to have plenty of crushed ice and plenty of orangeade because most of your guests will be coming back for seconds.

Have you ever tasted Grape Lemonade. Some people say it is the best tasting beverage in the world.

Grape Lemonade Recipe

GRAPE LEMONADE RECIPE

An excellent combination in the way of a beverage is lemonade and grape juice. Besides adding flavor to the lemonade, the grape juice gives it a delightful color and a zesty taste. Be sure to wash small clusters of grapes to use as a garnish on the top of each glass of grape lemonade.

How to make delicious Grape Lemonade.

This recipe will make enough grape lemonade to serve six people over crushed ice.

1. 1 Quart Lemonade
2. 1 Cup Grape Juice

Make your Lemonade for this recipe from the lemonade recipe above. To me Welch's Grape Juice makes the best grape juice to use in this recipe. The flavor added by the Welch's Grape Juice is just intense and delicious.

Make your lemonade for this recipe from the lemonade recipe above. Add the grape juice to the lemonade and stir well. Serve ice cold in glasses full of crushed ice. And don't forget to wash small clusters of grapes to use as a garnish.

And those are three of my all time favorite beverage recipes. All three are really delicious and one thing that's really important is that you use as fine a crushed ice as possible for you to make or purchase. The crushed ice and the garnishes really make these beverages extra special. When I have a back yard party I serve my beverages to my guests in 8 ounce decorative plastic glasses that I keep frozen in the freezer. This helps to keep cold beverages cold and your guests will really appreciate it.

Your home made beverage recipes sound great.

Here on Madeira Island where I live we not only grow great oranges and lemons, but also lots of grape vines for the purpose of making wine.

In the grape harvesting season, people all over the Island press their own grapes either in the time old way of using their feet, now often in waterproof footwear, or with more modern equipment.

I will try your Grape Lemonade recipe, but use freshly pressed grape juice instead of store-bought juice.

      Take care,

      Kind regards,
