One of my fondest memories of my childhood was when my grandmother would make lemonade. She could make the best lemonade in the world and I've always remembered all those wonderful pitchers of ice cold lemonade. I think more people should take the time to make a big pitcher of ice cold lemonade and set down on the front porch and drink it. If we could do that then the world just might be a better place. Think about it.

How To Make The Most Delicious Lemonade Ever

How To Make Wonderful Delicious Lemonade

Do you remember how great those cold glasses of lemonade were on those hot summer afternoons. Well I do. I remember begging my Grandmother to please make lemonade. Well when she did she followed the below recipe and it makes simply wonderful lemonade.

For the best lemonade you'll ever drink its important to use a simple sugar syrup to make your lemonade with and you can make your own sugar syrup easily.

How To Make A Delicious Sugar Syrup

To make a great sugar syrup combine 4 cups of water and 4 cups sugar in a saucepan and heat to boiling. Once it boils remove from heat and allow to cool. You can place your sugar syrup in a container and keep it in the refrigerator.

How To Make The Most Delicious Lemonade Ever

For each serving of lemonade you want to combine the juice of half a lemon and 2 tablespoons of the sugar syrup in a 8 oz. water glass. Add crushed ice and then fill glass with water and stir well. Serve at once and you will have just made some of the best tasting lemonade you will ever drink. You can if you wish garnish your glasses of lemonade with sprigs of mint or a slice of lemon.

You can use a blender and mix your homemade lemonade up into a delicious frozen drink. You may want to add a little crushed ice so that your frozen lemonade drinks will be thick. You can also add the zest from a lemon to your lemonade for a delicious treat.

It doesn't have to be summer time to enjoy delicious homemade lemonade. You can make and enjoy it at any time of the year. And lemonade is the best thirst quencher you have ever tasted.

A Secret Ingredient For Your Lemonade

Once you make your lemonade by the above recipe and have your lemonade in the glass add a teaspoon of lemon extract to each glass of lemonade and stir well to kick your lemonade up a few notches and I guarantee you'll have a lemonade that you won't soon forget.

You should always use bottled water to make your lemonade out of for best results. Lemonade made from bottled water will always taste better than lemonade made from spigot water.

And you know it doesn't have to be summer time to make lemonade. You can make and enjoy lemonade at any time of the year. If its around the holidays serve your lemonade in big glasses of crushed ice with a twisted lemon peel garnish along with a few sprigs of mint. I guarantee you that people will love it even in the coldest part of winter. So what are you waiting on?
