Dessert Quesadillas
Dessert Quesadillas
Making Use of Leftovers
I had some leftover tortilla shells in my fridge one time, and as a sweets lover, I was tired of cooking them with cheese and chicken. I've had deep fried tortilla chips with cinnamon sugar before, and they are absolutely DELICIOUS, so I thought why not grill a quesadilla with butter and cinnamon sugar on the outside?

What is your favorite filling?
Filling
If I wasn't allergic to peanut butter, I can imagine fabulous combinations to fill the inside of my dessert quesadilla. I bet a peanut butter and jelly quesadilla would be wonderful.
As it is, I used chocolate spread and little caramel bits. I have also made these with Biscoff spread and chocolate chips. I have yet to try it with applesauce, but I bet that would taste just like apple pie!

Queso-less Quesadilla
I suppose you can't really call them quesadillas without the cheese, although I did have the brilliant idea to try them with cream cheese. Too bad I used up the last of my cream cheese, but I will have to try that next. Cream cheese and strawberry jam.
After you have sufficiently filled the inside of your cheese-less quesadilla, cook it on a frying pan over medium heat for about 2 minutes. Then flip it and cook the other side. The inside will get all melty and delicious. And hot, of course, so don't burn your tongue. Then the edge of it will be numb for days and you won't be able to fully appreciate the flavors of this dessert you just created.
The Perfect Single Serving Dessert
Quick, Easy, and Delicious
This is quick and easy to make, and is perfect if you just want to fix up something for one or two people. No over indulging on the extra cookie dough. Although if you wanted, I bet cookie dough would be an amazing option for a filling.
