To give you an idea to where Serendra is
A fine sunday
Went to Boni-Hi street to claim my free photo session with the Picture Company, I brought along my dog PM for she was the one with me when I received this free coupon. Trying to hit two birds in one stone I decided to stroll and look for a dining place that I can include in my hub and I ended up finding this Cafe Mary Grace. If you are all alone strolling and with a Dog, I guess this place is good. Even foods to order is more than good enough for one
What I ordered
Since I am alone I am a bit weird, I followed what my craving is simply dictating me, so for a starter, I ordered this Mary Grace Hot Chocolate, and Mary Grace Classic Cheese rolls and Ensaymada. The appetizers are tempting too. I was thinking of ordering the Grilled Kesong Puti dip, but with the Cheese rolls, Ensaymada with very thick Hot chocolate, I will be taking too much because I already ordered a pasta, and I chose Spanish Sardines Pasta with Olives
The Mary Grace Hot Chocolate
Obviously very thick, tasty and sweet, though it answered my craving somehow, it was not actually the hot chocolate that I have been imagining for the day, the nice waiter told me, that their Traditional Hot chocolate can be the one that I want because it is a combination of bitter sweet taste of choco, sticky and tasty but not as sweet as the Mary Grace Hot Chocolate
The Traditional Cheese rolls and Ensaymade
You have a choice between Classic and grilled with just a few peso difference.
both are good but can be as good and as deliciouse as those in the well know bake shops, but the softness of the bread made it really remarkable. They are best serve with hot chocolates, and the strong cheesy taste complimented the too sweet taste of the chocolates
Spanish Sardines and Olive Pasta
Since I consider myself above average when it comes to pasta cooking, I decided to order a pasta that I haven't tried to cook myself. I chose the Spanish Sardines with Olives pasta, not only because I love Spanish sardines but because of something "fusion"... this will be different I know.
the serving is good enough for 1 depending on the appetite of the person. I had a hard time finishing it, well after the cheese rolls and ensaymada which i shared with pm, who can't get so full.
The taste is good, and very challenging, the strong taste of the spanish sardines and olive combined make it really very appetizing. This is spicy so I don't think kids will like it. But adventurous adult will truly like it. I am thinking of cooking it myself, after observing all the ingredients that I've tasted
More Menu
It's not easy to choose when you are all alone and you know you can't order everything for curiosity's sake and for the sake of blogging or hubbing. With all that I ordered and tried to finish, I really feel so full... the menu seems to offer too many delicious pasta, cakes and sandwiches, obviously my all time favorite.
I love their drinking water
It's really refreshing.. I am not really a water drinker but not here at Mary Grace
