Dining in- Yakimix, Japanese Buffet, at Greenbelt 3, Makati City
Spending Time With Dear Highschool Friends While Enjoying the Great Buffet
Meeting highschool friends always started with a great plan. A few months ago, it seemed we can't decide where to celebrate our anniversary since we graduated, some suggested Antipolo and One suggested near her place which is Novali Laguna, but when the expected date is approaching, the choices were narrowed down to fine dining place in Metro Manila where we all won't need to travel that far.
When choosing where to dine, I suggested an Eat all you can buffet with good choices of desserts. I chose Yakimix since I haven't been in the place, and it seemed like it was everybody's choice.
The Ambiance is cozy but comfortable

It was a wise decision for our organizer Anna, to arrive earlier so it will not take long for the advance party to wait for their turn to enter the restaurant. It was obviously a "click" for all food lovers that they won't mind waiting to be accomodated.... the entrance of Yakimix was crowded because of customers who wanted to dine
Red Ice Tea
For whatever reasons, most of us, ordered this bottomless Red Iced tea, though they offer more, I guess this drink is good enough if your intention is to eat a lot.... Yakimix is a buffet anyway, so a choice of fruit smoothies will just make you feel full right away..
Yakimix is a Japanese Buffet

Of course what's Japanese Food without the well known assorted Maki and sashimi. At the Maki Bar, I only chose what I think is very new to me, I don't want to get full, I am just starting... so in my first serving, I chose a few maki, with sashimi on top, some with Kani, with fish etc. I got a few piece of deliciously fresh sashimi too. I tried the Sukiyaki soup with add ons like beef, tofu and black mushroom, I like the add ons but not much the Sukiyaki, it's too sweet, I guess I prefer the miso soup.
My Second Serving

I was curious with the sprout mushroom inside the rolled bacon, it's surprisingly delicious when grilled. The one with Broccoli with mixed crab and egg is another favorite... Tried to get salad to have a feel of fresh vegetable, and got hotdogs and 1 piece meatloaf not because I truly craved them but just trying to imitate friends who ate it like it was the best in the world
My Third Serving now combined with Desserts
My third plate was just a repetition of what I like best, the broccoli with Kani and egg and the sprout mushroom with rolled bacon. Though I know I haven't tasted all the bests from Yakimix, I am already too full to try them. We can always come back anyway...
Desserts, Desserts,Desserts
Click thumbnail to view full-sizeFor me, the best "Eat all You can" resto is the one that serves Desserts, from the simplest to the most fanciful...so glad to know they also have Cheese cake and chocolate cakes. Egg tarts and mixed fruits tarts are sure winner. The Dessert buffet table also have chocolates in variety of colors and shapes. There are crepes and Ice cream with too many add ons, and plenty of fresh fruits like water melon and dragon fruit.
Yakimix Grill

You and your friends will surely enjoy talking about the good old times, while eating delectable and healthy food at a very reasonable price...no wonder customers are willing to wait, coz dining in at Yakimix is really WORTH the wait.
