EASTER EGG DEVILED EGG RECIPE
QUICK And EASY
What do you do with those leftover Easter eggs? If your house is anything like ours, usually there are not too many eggs leftover. We dye Easter eggs, have Easter egg hunts, play Easter egg games and the tastiest treat of all we eat the Easter eggs. If any eggs are leftover we make our favorite deviled egg recipe.
Ingredients
You will need:
Leftover Easter eggs 1 1/2 ~ 2 dozen
1 large mixing bowl
1 cup Kraft mayonaise
2 medium onions (optional) (chop or cut into small pieces)
2 green peppers (chop or cut into small pieces)
2 stalks of celery (don't chop them just cut them into small peices, this helps to add more of a crunch to your tasty finished meal)
Get Your Eggs Ready
Take the egg shells off of all the deviled eggs.
Rinse eggs breifly under running in cold water. The hard running water will help knock off any additional egg shell fragments. Double check your eggs and make sure you pick off any very small shell peices that may still be stuck to the white of any eggs.
Dont worry about the Easter egg dye that may have colored some of the egg whites. This coloring makes a nice colorful addition to your finished deviled egg recipe.
Pour off the cold water. Place all the eggs on paper towel and pat them gently until they are dry. (Wet eggs will make your finished deviled eggs watery, and you don't want that)
Cut all of your eggs in half.
