Delicious Easy Entree

As the weather outside gets colder, the meals inside are better served warmer. This recipe is for easy stew beef that is great served over white rice or with mashed potatoes. This entree is easy to make, not too pricey, and absolutely delicious. If you prefer, you could also serve this dish over split rolls or biscuits. Give this crockpot dinner a try -- it will fill your tummy with warm, delicious goodness.

Yields: Several Servings


  • 2 lb stew meat
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1 10 oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup gingerale


  1. Place the stew meat in the crock pot. Sprinkle onion soup mix over meat. Place soup all over. Pour the ginger ale on top.
  2. Cook on high for the first hour. Cook on low for about 4-5 more hours until meat is tender and shreds with a fork.
  3. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
