Elie's Mediterranean Grill/Bar
Welcome to Elie's
Elie's has its own signature logo, which can be noticed on the menu, beverage glass and signage!
All About Elie's
How to find Elie's:
Elie's restaurant camouflages with its neighboring strips, and the best way to find the actual entrance is to see it's distinguishable wooden & glass door. Also, a great way to track the restaurant is to spot Elie's sign or the "263" sign above its entrance door!
Their address is:
263 Pierce St., Birmingham, MI 48009
(248) 647-2420
When is a good time to dine at Elie's:
The hours of operation are from:
Monday - Friday 11:30 AM - 10:00 PM
Saturday - Sunday 4:00 PM - 10:30 PM
(To avoid running into a locked door as I did, I believe it's a good idea to give them a call on Sundays & Holidays. Weekend seats may fill quickly.)
What exactly is Elie's?:
Elie's serves Mediterranean dishes, and it is certainly vegetarian friendly! They have Lunch, Dinner & Wine menu. I may re-visit this restaurant soon to consider another dish.
What is their Service like?:
Upon entering the restaurant, a Hostess will greet you, and ask how many guests are with you. The Hostess will then allow you to explore 3 different options of dining -- the bar, the dining area, or the patio area (I chose the patio to try something different).
The Server will greet you momentarily, and help assist with special dietary requests. For example, upon asking if I could get Iced Tea Unsweetened, he jotted down the order, and was super accommodating.
For consumers that are gluten-free, or have certain food allergens, I'm confident that you will receive great service!
While dining at the Patio:
I've gotten to enjoy the fresh air breeze, as well as the surrounding sense of atmosphere that Elie's creates.
What I ended up ordering:
I've ordered unsweetened Iced Tea (very nicely designed glass!), Portabella Mushroom Sandwich with French Fries, and a Hummus Taboulee Rollup. I've taken some clear-crisp photos of them!

The Quality of Atmosphere, Food & Service makes the visit worthwhile!
Quality of Food
Portabella Mushroom Sandwich: 'Char-Grilled Portabella Sautéed with Fresh Garlic, Wine, Red Pepper, Monterey Jack Cheese and served with Fries."
I've really enjoyed the Portabella Mushroom Sandwich. I can tell that the way Elie's sautéed the mushrooms and red peppers, made it very enjoyable to eat. It struck me as a Panini style sandwich. The French Fries also complemented the entrée very well, and was freshly crisped.
Hummus & Taboulee Rollup: I have also enjoyed the Hummus & Taboulee Pita rollup. Elie's kitchen packaged it professionally, and I was in for another great-tasting treat.
Unsweetened Iced Tea (Craving comes back): The quality of food makes me want to come back to try a different dish. Already I crave the Unsweetened Iced Tea once again!
