Fig and Muscat Wine Preserves
You try to get me to drink wine of any kind and I will gladly decline the offer. But if you offer me food that has wine in it I will surely give it a try. Yeah, I am weird that way.
I love eating cheese with wine. And I don't mean cheese with a glass of wine. I mean cheese that has been soaked in wine or has wine as an ingredient.
I love eating preserves/jams with wine too. One of my favorite preserves is fig preserves. A while ago I was shopping at Home Goods and discovered fig preserves with Muscat wine made by Kozlowski Farms. These preserves tasted so good that I couldn't get enough of them.
I really love eating Fig & Muscat Wine preserves with fresh brie or other cheeses, cream cheese, cottage cheese/farmer cheese, or ricotta cheese. Sometimes I just enjoy them on freshly baked bread or toasted bread with a cold glass of goat milk. Delicious!
I went back to Home Goods for seconds yet they didn't have anymore. I searched for these preserves in many stores and was left disappointed every time because they were nowhere to be found.
I was feeling dejected but then decided to try to search for them online. I didn't remember the brand name but I remembered they were made with wine so did a Google search and found exactly what I had been looking for for months. Amazon had these exact preserves so I bought a box and have been enjoying them since.
The package of Fig & Muscat Wine preserves that's sold on Amazon has six 10.5 ounce glass jars. And the shipping is free. A great deal I think.
If you want to buy only one jar of these exact preserves (or other varieties) you can do so by going directly to the Kozlowski Farms website.
Other Jams, Preserves, Jellies by Kozlowski Farms
Besides Fig & Muscat Wine preserves there are other preserves, jams, and jellies that the company makes and sells. I just bought a jar of Pomegranate jelly and it is so good that I finished it off in only a few days. I ate them with toasted waffles topped with whipped cream cheese. Next on my list is Apricot and Mango preserves, which I just bought as well. I was fortunate to find both the Apricot and Mango preserves and the Pomegranate jelly at Marshall's, which is a rarity, and it's not even a food store. Come to think of it I've never seen Kozlowki Farms preserves and jellies for sale at a food store, which is weird. They'd fly off the shelves as they are that good.
I can't wait to try other preserves, jams, and jellies by this brand... Really looking forward to pineapple preserves, apple cinnamon jelly, peach jam, raspberry and peach preserves and more...
