Fried Potato Clam Chowder And Chicken Soup, Easy Crockpot Soup.
Great soup on a cold winter day just warms your whole body. This is a hot and hardy soup and very easy to make.
The soup is made in the crockpot and can start it in the morning and just let it go.
The Grocery List
Can or Bottle of clam sauce
Can of clams
1 can chicken broth
1 small carton heavy cream
1 chicken breast
1 lb. bacon
1 very large onion
Salt and pepper

1 can of clam sauce
1 can of clams
1 can of chicken broth
2 cups of cream
1 boneless chicken breast cut in squares
1 lb. bacon cut into small squares
1 very large onion
4 cups of cubed potatoes
¼ cup flour
¼ cup parsley flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
Put crockpot (slow cooker) on high place clam sauce, clams, cut up chicken, cream,salt, pepper and parsley flakes in cooker.
In a large frying pan place bacon cook on medium until somewhat brown then add chopped onions and cook until bacon is completely brown turning the onions and bacon the whole time so they don’t burn, add potatoes and fry until potatoes are brown around the edges.
Add ¼ cup of flour to potatoes and mix well.
Once potatoes are done you can drain but I don’t and then add bacon, onions and potatoes to the crock pot (slow cooker).
Cook on high for 2 hours then turn on low. I started this in the morning and cooked for 6 hours.
Note: If your in a hurry and want to eat sooner you can this soup taste good in 2 hours and by that time chicken is cooked though. Potatoes do not turn to mush In this receipe.
If you don't like clams you can always leave them out and make this soup with just chicken, add an extra can of chicken broth.
