Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Garlic Bread
  • 1 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup carrot, finely chopped
  • 1 cup beans, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • to taste oregana
  • 1 tbsp Salad Dressing, Dr. Oetker FUNFOODS Honey Mustard Lite
  • 2 tbsp Salad Dressing, Dr. Oetker FUNFOODS Caesar Lite
  • to taste Cheese & Italian Herb Seasoning, Urban Flavorz
  • to taste salt
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup cheese, grated

How to Make Garlic Bread with Saucy Vegetables

  1. Peel one big carrot and two onions. Wash one bell pepper and around 15-20 beans.
  2. Chop the carrot, onions and beans finely to get one cup each of finely chopped vegetables. Chop bell pepper to get 1/2 cup of finely chopped bell pepper.
  3. Add 1 tbsp of oil in a cooking pot.
  4. Add the finely chopped onions with salt to taste and saute them on high flame till their color changes to pinkish brown. Now add the carrots and beans and saute them for 3 to 4 minutes. Finally add chopped bell pepper and salt to taste.
  5. Turn the flame to low and cover the cooking pot till the vegetables turn soft.
  6. Now add the sauces and oregano to the vegetables and mix well. I have used Oregano Seasoning which I got with home delivered Pizzas. This seasoning contains garlic, spices, black pepper, chili, basil and oregano. The Saucy Vegetable is ready.
  7. Take the loaf of garlic bread and cut it into one inch pieces. Apply butter on both sides of the cut pieces.
  8. Take a pan and heat the bread pieces till golden brown on both sides on low flame. This is a time taking process but low flame will give you very crispy pieces of garlic bread.
  9. Apply the saucy vegetable on the garlic bread slices and garnish with grated cheese. Heat till the cheese melts. Serve it hot with lemonade.
  10. Tip : You can add chopped cabbage, lettuce and/or sweetcorn also to vegetables.
