Naples, FL: Happy Hour at the Firepit City Grill

Eastside Firepit Grill in Estero has an all-day, every day Happy Hour! My sisters and I had not had a girl's night out for a long time. We wanted time away from husbands, kids and home so we decided to try a new place- and we are so glad we did.

We were greeted by three lovely and friendly hostesses. While waiting for a table, we went to the bar area and found plenty of seating to enjoy pre-dinner drinks. Cocktails were creative like Mango Mojito and made with top shelf spirits (upon request) at no extra charge.

Our server was efficient, polite and helpful, making great suggestions. We were not in the mood for dinners, but rather, fun snacks with our drinks, so we decided on appetizers.

We loved the spicy Firepit Shrimp because the shrimp were big and tender and the batter was neither greasy nor heavy. Ribs were served hot and fall-of-the-bone tender, but were a tad bland (in my opinion- my sisters thought they were fine as is). A bit more seasoning or a side of tangy, spicy BBQ sauce might have done the trick for me. As for the Pork Pot Stickers, they were fantastic- tender and juicy inside and slightly crisp on the outside. The sriracha sauce served on the side was exotic and created the perfect pairing. Finally, the Spinach & Artichoke dip was served oozing out of a bread bowl and the portion was very big. Lots of chips, too. The dip was hot, creamy and quite tasty, but also a bit bland. Nothing that a dash of salt and pepper could not fix.

Prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere is friendly and casual. This is a place I would recommend for friends and family if they are looking for something quick and good. Also a great place for a girl's night out. Thank you for reading!
