Healthy Energy Ball Recipes
Recipe 1: Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Balls
These energy balls are an amazing treat, and can satisfy any sweet cravings. Since, they contain peanut butter, they have a good source of protein, and can fill you up while tasting amazing.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2/3 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup flax seeds
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup)
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
For substitutes:
-You can use maple syrup instead of honey.
-You can use almond butter or any other nut butter rather than peanut butter.
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients in one bowl.
- Mix together until everything is combined.
- Using a spoon or your hands create balls from the mix.
- That's it!

Recipe 2: Peanut Butter Chocolate Brownie Balls
These energy balls are extra chocolatey, so if you are like me and love chocolate and peanut butter these are amazing! I love eating one or two of these as my dessert as they are extremely satisfying and filling.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- splash of vanilla
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips

The instructions and yield time are the same for each recipe. They are all quite similar with just different ingredients to switch the taste up.
Recipe 3: Coconut Chocolate Energy Balls
If you love coconut, you will love this coconut twist to the chocolate energy balls.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup flax seed
- splash of vanilla
