Homemade Pizza
Ingredients for Pizza Dough
- 1 package Yeast
- 1 cup Warm Water
- 2 TBS Oil
- 1/4 tsp. Salt
- 2 1/2 -3 1/2 cups Flour, Add Flour until dough is no longer sticky
Instructions for Making Pizza Dough
- Using a blender or kneading with your hands, Mix all ingredient.
- Place ball of dough in a bowl and allow to rise until it doubles in size
- Punch down the dough
- Roll dough out on a floured surface
- Sprinkle Cornstarch on the bottom of the pizza pan to prevent sticking and burning
Toppings for White Pizza with Chicken
- Alfredo Sauce
- 1 Lb. Chicken boiled until tender then cut in small pieces
- Red, Yellow and Orange Bell Peppers sliced thinly
- Black Olives
- 1 Jar Sliced Mushrooms
- 1-2 cups Mozzarella or Italian Blend Shredded Cheese
Putting the Pizza Together
- Pour desired amount of Alfredo Sauce on the crust and spread evenly
- Scatter cut up Chicken on top of the Alfredo Sauce
- Top Chicken with Peppers, Olives and Mushrooms
- Pour desired amount of Alfredo Sauce on top of the layered ingredients
- Top with Shredded Cheese
- Bake in preheated 375ยบ oven until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbling
Tomato Pizza Pie
This Tomato Pizza Pie combines mozzarella cheese, fresh vine ripened tomatoes and Basil Pesto topping. It also uses a 9" frozen pie crust. If you prefer to make your own crust use the Pizza Dough recipe suggested above.
