Lisa Jane has been cooking for many years and loves trying out any recipes, be it new or her family's.

Meat loaf has been around for a long time. There are so many recipes that one can make. This is the recipe that I grew up with and for some reason, it's the only one that I use. Normally, I don't add green peppers to my meat loaf but I had one that I needed to use so I chopped it up and put it in. It did taste great. While looking though my recipe book, I came across two other meat loaf recipe. One had you using rolled oats and the other had you using potatoes. The great thing is with meat loaf, you can either add or leave out ingredients that you don't want. Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do.

  • 1 lb Hamburg

Thanks, Kenneth. Meatloaf is good hot or cold. It is also good with ketchup or plain. Since you love meatloaf, have you tried my Salmon Loaf.

Lisa -- loved this hub. Loved the meatloaf more. Factually-speaking, meatloaf is probably my all-time favorite food . . .it is so good that I could eat it for breakfast. Cold or hot. I love it.

      Thanks for sharing.

And you keep in touch with me.

The best recipes are the ones that our mothers make.

I have my mom's recipe for meatloaf and love making it from time to time. Your article reminds me to put it on our menu again.
