Homemade Vitamin Water or Fruit Water

Updated on August 4, 2012

To maintain a healthy lifestyle, you should drink 8 cups of water per day. That is not an easy task for me and often I find myself dehydrated. Vitamin water is expensive and this is an easy way to make your own so you can save money and drink 8 glasses of vitamin water or fruit water per day. It is all natural and much healthier for you than juice because there is no sugar added.

Cook Time

Prep time: 5 min
Ready in: 5 min
Yields: Pitcher of fruit flavoured water

Ingredients

  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • handful frozen raspberries
  • handful mint, chopped
  1. Put cold water in a glass pitcher or ice tea maker.
  2. Add the sliced lemon and frozen raspberries. You can add fresh raspberries, strawberries, lime, orange, or whatever fruits you may have in your fridge. Add the chopped mint.
  3. Refrigerate overnight and the next day you will have your flavourful and colourful vitamin or fruit water.
