Homemade ice cream is really simple to make.There are many homemade ice cream makers available to make yummy homemade ice cream on the market and they are incredibly affordable. Although, it is cheaper in many cases to just buy your favorite kind of ice cream in the store, it's not near as much as making your own homemade ice cream with your kids or a group of adults.

All you need is a homemade ice cream maker, some rock salt, some ice, some sugar, some vanilla, and milk. But that's boring and everyone loves ice cream with a little flavor. Here are some homemade ice cream recipes that everyone can find something to enjoy.

The Basic Homemade Ice Cream Ingredients

The Ice Cream Maker

  • Rock Salt
  • Crushed Ice

To make the ice cream your need a combination of ice and rock salt. Crushed ice works best. Use the specified amount of rock salt to ice that your ice cream maker reccommends.

  • 2 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 Cup Whole Milk, Half & Half, Or Cream
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla
