Chocolate syrup is a delicious topping for various desserts. It can be served hot or cold. I drizzled my homemade chocolate syrup on top of my fried banana egg rolls. I even served an extra syrup on the size. It tasted really good. Try the goodness of this chocolate syrup using cocoa powder.

      Hi Liz,

I think this recipe answered that incident. Lol I also enjoy making chiffon cakes during special occasions. I tried buttercream icing, not yet the chocolate one. Maybe I should give it a try next time.

I have often wondered how to make this. I use cocoa, vanilla flavouring, icing sugar and butter to make a chocolate flavoured butter icing for cakes. Sometimes my kids have blasted a slice of cake in the microwave for a few seconds to get a melted chocolate version.

      Hello Mary,

Yes, it's a very easy chocolate syrup hack. Rather than buying it, why not make your own. At least you can adjust the sweetness based on your preference.

I can't see how chocolate syrup can be made any easier than with your recipe. That would be good on any number of sweets.
