How to Make Homemade Bisquick

Bisquick Recipe

A lot of people use Bisquick to cook with, but with rising prices of food Bisquick has gotten quite expensive. This is so easy and quick to make, and the quantity is much larger than what you would purchase in the store also. I hope you find this recipe as useful as I do, enjoy !


6 cups flour (all purpose only)

1 tbsp. salt

3 tbsp. baking powder

1 cup shortening (vegetable)

Sift together the first three ingredients. Next, add your shortening to the dry mixture until it looks like small crumbs. A pastry blender works great for this, or a fork works well also. That's it, just put it into a air tight container to keep it fresh. Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 months.
