Seven Layer Choconaught Cookies
Seven layer Choconaughts
I call these Choconaughts because once you cut them into squares they look like space food that might have gone on the Gemini or Apollo Missions. This is a recipe from “The Cupboard Drawer”, given to my Mom, Dorothy, by her friend Lu Ann Varness. Heaps of these have been consumed by me, my siblings, and my children. They will soon be included for my Adopted Unit in Afghanistan as they “travel” well in plastic tubs and the weather is now transitioning to cool from hot. Hope you enjoy….

Trail Mix Alternative: You can substitute proportional amounts of Almonds with the nuts, and raisins for either of the Chips. They will be a bit crumbly though.
