How to prepare Chicken Stock
Chicken Stock Recipe
Chicken Stock is used in many Non Vegetarian Soups, Stews and other Recipes. The ingredients and method of preparation is given below.
Ingredients
500 grams Chicken Bones
1 Medium Onion peeled and quartered
1 Medium Carrot Chopped
2 celery sticks cut into 3 pieces
1 large leek cut into half
1 Bay Leaf
2 Sprigs fresh Parsley
¼ tsp Dried Thyme
6-8 Black Peppercorns
Water
Method of Preparation
Put all the ingredients in a thick bottomed vessel on High flame and bring to boil. Now reduce the flame and allow simmering for 2-3 hours. Strain to remove the ingredients from the liquid. This liquid is called Chicken Stock and can be used in non vegetarian cooking.

Sweet Corn Chicken Soup
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Creamed Corn
- 1 cup Chopped chicken
- 1/2 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
- 4 cups Water/ Stock
- 1 bunch Green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp Corn starch dissolved in 1/4 cup cold water
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Vinegar
- 1/4 tsp Green chilies chopped
- 1 Egg beaten
- Salt to taste
How to make Sweet Corn Chicken Soup? To make this Soup, boil water in a thick bottomed pan. Once done, reduce flame and add one cup of chopped chicken, ginger garlic paste, green onions and salt to taste and cook in low flame for round 5 minutes. Add one cup creamed corn and half tsp pepper powder and cook for another 10 minutes. Now add the rest of the ingredients except egg. And cook for 5 more minutes. Add egg through a strainer, stirring the soup continuously. Garnish with Soya sauce if required.
Basic Chicken Soup
Ingredients
- 100 gms Boneless Chicken cut into thin stripes
- 200 gms Bones
- Corn flour mixed in ½ cup of water
- Finely chopped garlic 1 tsp
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp white pepper powder
- 6 cups of chicken stock
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 Bayleaf
- 2 green chillies
- ½ tsp garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
How to make Chicken Soup ? To make this soup put chicken bones in a deep pan along with chicken stock, chopped garlic, bay leaf, slit green chillies and bring to boil in low flame. Once done Strain to remove the bones, chillies and bay leaf. To the stained mixture add chicken pieces, white pepper powder, garam masala powder and salt to taste and cook in low flame. Add corn flour mixed in water to the soup and stir continuously to make the soup thicken a little. Once done serve the Chicken Soup hot.
