Black salt and rock salt are preferred over white salt in Ayurveda. These salts contain the much-needed trace elements which table salt lacks. This recipe calls for black salt, Peggy.

We grow basil and have cloves in our cupboard. Does the black salt make that much of a difference over regular salt? Anything that can boost immunity is a plus, especially during a pandemic.

Especially with cold and flu (the regular kind) coming up this will be a good recipe to have. I hope I don’t need it, but in case I do thank you.
