How to prepare Sarbats?

Jasmine sarbat
Ingredients
1. Jasmine flowers (fresh) - 25-30 nos.
2. Sugar - 1 kg
3. Cardamom powder - ΒΌ tsp
4. Sandal powder - 1 tsp
5. Water - 8 cup
Preparation and Cooking
1. Take cardamom powder and sandal powder in a cloth bag and tie it properly.
2. In a vessel, boil 8 cups of water and put the bag in it.
3. Then add 1 kg of sugar and boil for 10 minutes.
4. After that, add jasmine flowers and put the flame in a medium mode.
5. When the decoction thickens (somewhat that of honey), put off the flame.
6. Filter it and let it cool.
7. Pour it into a dried air tight bottle, keep in fridge and dilute with enough amount of water while serving. Serve chilled.
Coconut Sarbat

Yield: Serves 2 glasses
Ingredients
1. Tender coconut - 1 no.
2. Sugar - 4 tsp
3. Condensed milk - 250g
4. Rose essence - 1 drop
5. Cardamom powder - 1 pinch
Preparation and Cooking
1. Take the pulp and water from the coconut.
2. Add sugar and condensed milk to it.
3. Grind it well in a blender.
4. Add the other ingredients into the mixture and mix well.
5. Add 2-3 ice cubes and serve chilled.
