5 stars from 2 ratings of Kashmiri tea

Kashmiri Chai is a favorite of people in Pakistan and Indian regions. It has a unique pink color that differentiate it from normal tea. The taste and flavor of Kashmiri chai doubles if you add pistachio and cream in it. There is also room for dry fruits, just make sure to blend dry fruits before adding.

Yields: Six cups

  • 6 Teaspoon Green Tea leaves
  • 1-2 Teaspoon Bicarbonate of soda

  • 1 liter Fresh full Cream Milk

  1. Take a pan and heat it by adding green tea leaves, bicarbonate of soda, seeds of green cardamom, and salt. Reduce the heat and bring it to boil. Let it simmer for 4 to 5 minutes or until the quantity of mixture is reduced. Put 2, 3 cups of cold water in it while it simmers. You can also adjust water based on number of cups, but make sure this particular recipe has only 4 cups at this point. Boil it for 4 to 5 minutes. When done, remove from heat and set aside.
