Lemon rice


Ingredients

1. Raw rice - 1 cup

2. Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp

3. Mustard - 1 tsp

4. Coconut oil - 2 tsp

5. Ghee - 3 tbsp

6. Grated coconut - 2 tbsp

7. Ground nuts - 3 desert sp

8. Curry leaves - 1 stem

9. Lemon juice - 3 tbsp

10. Water - as required


Preparation and Cooking

1. Wash 1 cup of rice 2-3 times with water. Add 3 tbsp of ghee and enough amount of water; cook it in a pressure cooker up to 1 whistle. Keep aside.

2. Heat 2 tsp of coconut oil in a pan and add1 tsp of mustard seeds to splutter.

3. Then add ¼ tsp of turmeric powder, 3 desert sp of ground nuts and curry leaves into it. Stir well.

4. Put off the flame and add the roasted ground nuts into the cooked rice.

5. Finally, add 2 tbsp of grated coconut and 3 tbsp of lemon juice into this and mix well.

6. Lemon rice is READY! Try it!

Ingredients

1. Biriyani rice - 1 kg

2. Egg - 6 nos.

3. Turmeric powder - one pinch

4. Pepper powder - 1 tsp

5. Coriander powder - 2 tsp

6. Green chilli (chopped) - 4 nos.

7. Onion big (finely chopped) - 3 nos.

8. Coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tsp

9. Coconut oil - 2 tsp

10. Ghee - 1 tbsp

11. Salt - as required

12. Water - 4 cup


Preparation and Cooking

1. Wash the rice 2 or 3 times.

2. Boil ghee in a frying pan and add the rice into it. Stir well for 2 minutes.

3. Add 4 cups of water to it and boil until it is 75% cooked.

4. By the time, beat the eggs with pepper powder, coriander powder and salt.

5. Take another frying pan and heat 2 tsp of oil, add chopped green chilli, onion and coriander leaves to it and stir well.

6. Add the beaten eggs into the pan until the onions turn brown.

7. Add the cooked rice into it and mix well. Egg rice is READY!

8. Serve hot with salads or pickle.
