Liver and Sweet Fried Onions

Updated on March 10, 2020

Ingredients

  • 1 pound raw beef liver
  • 1 sweet onion
  • 1 cup fry magic coating mix
  • 1/4 cup canola oil

Not much science here. You put the heat on 350 degrees, add your oil and onions. After a few moments your hubby will turn the heat down and warn you that the onions could burn. So, 300 degrees

Then, as you flip the onions and discover that they are browned on the bottom. Then, you remove the onions and set aside in a bowl.

Place your liver in a dish filled with fry magic, and after you coat the pieces, place them on a plate.

Add a bit more oil, about 1/4 cup, and place your liver in the hot oil. Set your timer for four minutes. Do not move your liver pieces - temp should be at 300 degrees.

Flip them over, and set the timer for another four minutes. The move your liver closer together and pour the onion across the liver

Cook until inner temperature of liver is 170 degrees.

Then eat!
