Mac And Cheese Pizza

In this article I am going to share a cool pizza topping idea with you. I recently purchased some pizza bases and I decided to try and make a macaroni and cheese pizza. This is a fairly simple recipe to make and I am sure most people already know how to make macaroni and cheese however if you don't know how to make it I will leave a video below which shows you exactly how to make it. The best thing about this recipe is that you will probably already have all of the ingredients needed in your kitchen. As I said before I purchased my pizza bases however if you would like you can make your own pizza base. I will also leave a video below which shows you how to make your own pizza bases.

Mac And Cheese Recipe

Homemade Pizza Base Recipe

Cook Time

Prep time: 15 min
Cook time: 10 min
Ready in: 25 min
Yields: Serves two people

Ingredients

  • pasta, cooked
  • cheese, grated
  • bread crumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • pizza sauce
  • pizza base

Instructions

  1. Firstly you need to boil your pasta for around 10 minutes.
  2. Now that you have boiled your pasta for around 10 minutes you want to prepare your macaroni and cheese. In a pot add 1 tablespoon of butter and melt it. Make sure it is on low heat so that the butter does not burn.
  3. Once the butter has melted add your tablespoon of butter and whisk until the butter and flour have combined.
  4. Now add your cup of milk to the pot and carry on whisking until the mixture starts to thicken.
  5. Now that the mixture has started to thicken you can add some grated cheese and let it melt in.
  6. The next thing you want to do is get your pizza ready. The first thing you want to do is spread your pizza sauce on top of the base..
  7. Now spread your macaroni and cheese on top of the pizza base
  8. Add a little more grated cheese on top of the pizza
  9. Now sprinkle some bread crumbs over top. If you don't have bread crumbs you can just add 1 piece of bread to a blender and blend it for around 30 seconds.
  10. Now place your pizza into the oven at 220° Celsius / 430° Fahrenheit and cook it until the pizza base starts to turn golden brown. It should take around 10 minutes.
